Today, we feature Eleonora Rapacchietta and her projects.

Hi Ele, tell us something about yourself…

Hi, I’m Eleonora, a photographer and digital retoucher!

My journey started a few years ago as a painting student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. That’s where I discovered analog photography and the darkroom, which laid the foundations for my current job. For the past ten years, I’ve been working on digital photo post-production. My task involves developing and enhancing photographic images.

Together with photographer Damiano Nava, we create catalogues for prestigious furniture and design companies. Our studio is called Nava Rapacchietta Photography.

What is the activity of Nava Rapacchietta studio?

The studio specialises in Interior Design and Still Life photography for international brands. It also offers 3D image creation, styling, and video production.

What’s your typical workday like?

Ever since I became a mom, my day-to-day routine revolves around my kid’s schedule. When I’m not working on my computer at Fornace Lab, you can find me on set with Damiano during photo shoots. This way, I can study the desired look we want to achieve with the images during the shooting process, which makes my post-production work much easier.

Why did you choose to work in a coworking space?

After the pandemic, I felt the need to be around other people and share spaces and energy.

What benefits have you found in working in a coworking space?

I find that I am able to concentrate better and be more productive when working in a workspace that is specifically designed for work. It’s also great to have coffee breaks and chat with other people.

What kind of music do you like to listen to while you work?

I have a pretty eclectic taste in music, influenced by the places I have been to. I enjoyed reggae in Bologna and electronic music in Berlin, but I am always open to new genres.

What’s the spark in your job?

The creative aspect for sure. My interests in art, cinema, painting and food all tie back to my search for an image. If a project moves me, it is likely to turn out to be a great one!

Article translated by our coworker Annalisa Camminarecci.

Le belle storie dei coworker di Fornace Lab: Eleonora Rapacchietta, fotografa e fotoritoccatrice digitale.

[1

post-714","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nice-story
["GET
